    Eagle Creek Outfitters is your one-stop shop for outdoor recreation at Eagle Creek Park! Start your self-guided tour by renting a single/double kayak or canoe, paddle boat, stand-up paddle board, pontoon boat, sailboat or hybrid mountain bike down at the Marina. Foundation members receive $10 off any rental or $25 off a pontoon rental.*Not valid on holidays or weekends or with any other offer.

    During summertime, we offer full moon paddles on Friday and Saturday evenings. Daily specials are also available.

    Team-building programs are also available for up to 75 participants. They can vary in length from 2 hours to half-day experiences, and can be customized for large groups. All paddling and safety gear is provided with every piece of equipment.

  • Bark Park (Gilmer Canine Companion Zone)

    The Gilmer Canine Companion Zone (CCZ) has two five-acre sections that are used alternately to allow the turf to rest. The alternate CCZ can be rented for private gatherings or special events. Call 327.7110 (option 5) to make your reservation.

    Private rental: $50/hour (2-hour minimum)

    Special events: $250/day plus $1 per dog

    Eagle Creek Park’s Crest and Hide-A-Way facilities offer a beautiful retreat for reunions, picnics, corporate outings, weddings and/or receptions all year-round. For more information on both facilities, call 317.327.7193. Please also review the Rental Facility Policies.

    This picturesque area is framed by 50 acres of wooded terrain on the northwest side of the reservoir. It makes an ideal setting for a variety of events including reunions and weddings. The home features two decorative fireplaces, meeting rooms and a kitchen with basic appliances, and accommodates up to 100 people.

    The picnic area offers an outdoor dining option, and the open meadows are great for corporate sporting events and games. The trail entrance that leads to the nature preserve is just about 500 feet east of the facility.

    Eagles-Hideaway

    Recently renovated, this rustic retreat sits on 34 acres of sloped wooded terrain on the west side of the park, just off N. Raceway Road. The spacious main room is decorated with a cathedral ceiling, and a kitchen is available with basic appliances. Other features include terrace gardens, decorative fireplaces, restrooms, and small meeting rooms. It accommodates up to 100 people and requires a 3-hour minimum reservation.

  • Meeting & Workshop Space

    The Earth Discovery Center’s exhibit hall, wet and dry lab classrooms, resource room, and deck are open to groups from November–March in need of space for business meetings or workshops. However, it is not available for weddings, reunions, or parties. To check availability, contact Dawn Van Deman at 317.327.7148 or dawn.vandeman@indy.gov.     The park has 15 covered shelters available to accommodate anywhere from 40–200 people for gatherings. All of these reserved shelters have at least one grill and come equipped with picnic tables. Some have a playground and public restrooms nearby, and others are handicap accessible and come with electricity. For more information on shelter rentals, call 317.327.7110.

    Note: Since the park hosts many events like walks, runs, and triathlons during the hours of 7–11am, be advised that if you reserve a shelter on a day that the park has an event during those hours, we suggest you arrive after 11am that day. The Beach and Earth Discovery Center shelters, as well as the Marina building will run from 11am to dusk on event days.

    $200 for the first 100 people for Marion County residents / $225 non-resident ($1/each for any additional person)

    Earth Discovery Center Shelter
