There are many ways to support the mission of the Eagle Creek Park Foundation. You can give directly to the foundation and designate your donation to go to the program of your choice including the Ornithology Center, the Earth Discovery Center, Trails and the general fund. If you are thinking more long term, many members remember the foundation in their estate planning. Visit our In-Memoriam page to learn more.

Our nature centers are home to several animals that are cared for by loving staff and trained to be ambassadors for their species. This means that they help us educate the public and advocate for Indiana wildlife and habitat conservation! Many are non-releasable, meaning that they have some kind of disability that keeps them from being able to survive on their own in the wild. (OPERATING UNDER IN DNR EDUCATION AND USFWS EAGLE EXHIBITION PERMITS.) This adoption program helps to generate funds for their long-term care, housing, food, and enrichment. Choose Adopt a Raptor to donate to the Ornithology Center and Adopt a Critter to donate to the Earth Discovery Center. Thank you for your support!
Adoption Levels
Each adoption level includes a digital personalized certificate with your chosen animal and a digital fact sheet that will be sent to your email. If you choose an adoption level with collectible buttons, they cannot be mailed and must be picked up in person at the center receiving your donation. If your adoption level includes a tour or program, these occur at the corresponding nature center, must be scheduled in advance, and will be coordinated with staff via email after you adopt.
All adoptions are symbolic and in no way signify ownership. All animals may be adopted by more than one person. Donations will go to the general nature center animal care funds and may not apply directly to your chosen animal. Thank you so much for your support!
Adoption Levels:
Advocate $50
- Personalized adoption certificate
- Fact sheet about an animal from your chosen center
- Your name displayed in the center of your choice for the coming year
Friend $150
Items from Advocate level plus:
- Collectible buttons for your family (5 max) of your chosen center
- A behind the scenes tour of the center receiving your donation for your immediate family
Protector $250
Items from Friend level plus:
- Private “Feeding Time” experience for your immediate family
Champion $500+
Items from Protector level plus:
- Private program for up to 15 people
