THE MARINA at Eagle Creek Park
The Marina is one of the most iconic places at Eagle Creek Park. Situated in the middle of the eastern shore of the reservoir on a peninsula, visitors can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the park.
On a gorgeous day at the park, you may see fellow visitors kayaking, picnicking, fishing, bird watching, and more from the Marina.
Additionally, there is an event space available for rent called the Marina Overlook. Details can be found here >
There are two public launches for kayaks. Information about kayaking and kayak rentals can be found below.
Amenities & Activities at the Marina
Watersports
Bring your Kayak, Paddleboard, or Canoe
Visitors are welcome to bring their own watercraft, as the marina is an excellent place to launch. There is a public launch near the parking lot as well as next to Eagle Creek Outfitters. Each person is required to wear a personal floatation device (PFD) that fits appropriately.
There is a $3 fee for each outside watercraft brought into the park (fee information here). An annual pass for watercraft can also be purchased through Indy Parks at the gatehouse or Park Office.
Rentals available at Eagle Creek Outfitters
Rentals are available at Eagle Creek Outfitters during their season of operation (Usually April – Sept). Check their website > for up-to-date hours and rental information.

Fishing > With fishing spots on and along the reservoir, the causeway, and at Lilly Lake, you’ll never run out of places to fish!
Picnics > Enjoy a picnic at beautiful Eagle Creek Park! There are over 20 picnic spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Photography > With so many gorgeous views, you’ll have a hard time putting that camera or smartphone down. We totally get it.
