Become A Volunteer

You must be at least 12 years of age. Volunteers between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times when volunteering at Eagle Creek Park.

There are three required application forms: an ECP registration form, an Indy Parks registration form, and a Criminal Background Check consent form. Applicants regardless of age or prior experience must submit all three forms. (Eagle Creek Park is a City Park and this is a legal requirment to volunteer in an Indianapolis City Park to have a Criminal Background Check.

These forms are available for download as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Forms can also be picked up at the EDC Earth Discovery Center.. Please note that incomplete forms can not be processed.

After your forms have been processed, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator to start you on your way in the areas in which you are most interested.
