Additionl event information

OC Construction - Assistance is needed in the following areas for help in construction of the new Ornithology Center.

Finish Carpenter: for molding and Car Siding
Licensed Plumber: small plumbing project, cold water supply and drain to water cooler.
Licensed Electrician: install a few new outlets and Lights
Painting: Habitat, exhibit and wall painting
Drywall: Hang, mud, tape, sand
Wildlife Artist (wanna-be) - People to help cut out and make plants, flowers, and leaves for the habitats
Clean up

These are very exciting opportunities for people with the right skills to contribute to the Ornithology Center. If you are interested in any of these opportunities - call Kevin at 327-bird (2473). Also, please pass this along to anyone else you know who might be interested!

Kids Fishing Derby - Event Organization - Looking for individuals to assist with organization of the event. This would include:

Volunteer coordinator - determine volunteer needs, make volunteer assignments and oversee volunteers the day of the event.
Event Coordinator - oversee overall event activities including coordinating with Wal-Marts on their participation, volunteers, event marketing and several other aspects.
Administrative assistance - help with coordination of event participants via e-mail, mail and phone.

Kids Fishing Derby - Event - Help out with one of the Foundation's premier events - The Eagle Creek Park Foundation Kids Fishing Derby. Up to 100 volunteers are needed to make the event a success.

Volunteer needs include:

Parking	7:00 to 10:30
Registration of Volunteers	6:00 to 10:00
Registration of Participants	7:00 to 11:30
Distribute Rods & Reels	7:00 to 11:00
Distribute Worms	7:00 to 11:00
Distribute Goodie Bags	7:00 to 11:00
Equipment Repair	beginning 8:30
Roamers (the largest need - 30)	7:00 to 12:00 or later
Photography	Time is flexible (can use 8:00 AM - Noon)
Casting Contest	9:00 to 11:00
After-Event Cleanup & Pack up	12:00 to 1:30
There are also opportunities on days prior to the event.
