INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Parks will host a public open house to discuss its deer management program, which includes the consideration of a deer reduction at Eagle Creek Park. During the open house, attendees can visit with expert biologists and staff, and ask questions.

Due to the increasing deer abundance, Eagle Creek Park continues to experience significant damage to its natural environment including having deer destroy the habitat for birds and compromising the forest’s ability to regenerate. The last deer reduction occurred in 2014 at Eagle Creek Park.
